Stonemason
Capital only. Makes the capital's buildings more durable against catapults, so each hit does less damage.
Build times at x1 with a level 1 Main Building, which takes 100% of the base time. Click a row to start a range and another to end it.

Levels 1 to 20 cost 237,240 resources and take 169:52:10 at x1, adding 41 population and 38 culture points a day.
Capital-only building that makes everything in the capital harder to destroy: its buildings, its resource fields and its wall.
- Each level adds 10 percentage points of durability: level 1 = 110%, level 10 = 200%, level 20 = 300% / 3x normal durability.
- The building itself is designed to survive very deep into a capital demolition and is the final building in a complete capital destruction sequence.
- The wall counts: a high-level Stonemason makes the capital's wall markedly harder for rams to bring down.
- Architect's Secret protects the wall in the same way, and the two work together - a capital with both is far more ram-resistant than one with either alone.
Strategy. This matters for hammer planning: ram requirements against a protected capital can be dramatically higher.
Planning. How the two combine exactly - whether they add or multiply - is not stated here, because it is not settled. Plan a hammer against the possibility that they multiply.
