The Gaul Palisade sits between the City Wall and the Earth Wall on both counts: a moderate bonus, and moderate durability.
- Stronger than the Earth Wall and weaker than the City Wall, with durability to match.
- It pairs with the rest of the Gaul defensive kit - larger crannies and the Trapper - in a tribe built to be raided and survive it.
- As with every wall the bonus multiplies the defence present, so it is worth most in a village that actually holds troops.
Strategy. The Gaul answer to being attacked is layered: traps take some, crannies hide the resources, the wall multiplies whoever is home.

A step pays that much of each of the four resources, plus the hero experience, and the hero's own level adds 2% a level above the first on top of both. A reward can be left unclaimed and taken whenever it suits: claiming it pays no health, but the experience it carries can push the hero up a level, and it is the level-up that restores full health.
