Hoplite weapons
Spear of the Hoplite, Pike of the Hoplite and Lance of the Hoplite: the three hero weapons for the Hoplite, each adding fighting strength to the hero and attack and defence to every Hoplite in its army.

Tier I: Spear of the Hoplite
A tier 1 hero weapon for the Spartan Hoplite: +250 fighting strength for the hero, and +3 attack and defence for every Hoplite in the same army.
What stands out
- On defence against cavalry, that is worth 6 Smithy levels to every Hoplite with the hero, on top of whatever the Smithy already gives.
- Carried by a Spartan hero it gives +4 per Hoplite instead, and +375 fighting strength - half as much again, rounded up.
- Its +3 per unit is 10% of the Hoplite's base defence against cavalry of 30.
- On worlds with item rarities its fighting strength is 250 common, 500 uncommon, 1,000 rare and 1,750 epic. Uncommon, rare and epic items exist only on special servers.

Tier II: Pike of the Hoplite
