Phalanx weapons
Spear of the Phalanx, Pike of the Phalanx and Lance of the Phalanx: the three hero weapons for the Phalanx, each adding fighting strength to the hero and attack and defence to every Phalanx in its army.

Tier I: Spear of the Phalanx
A tier 1 hero weapon for the Gaul Phalanx: +250 fighting strength for the hero, and +3 attack and defence for every Phalanx in the same army.
What stands out
- On attack, that is worth 8 Smithy levels to every Phalanx with the hero, on top of whatever the Smithy already gives.
- Its +3 per unit is 20% of the Phalanx's base attack of 15 - the third-biggest relative boost any tier 1 weapon gives.
- On worlds with item rarities its fighting strength is 250 common, 500 uncommon, 1,000 rare and 1,750 epic. Uncommon, rare and epic items exist only on special servers.
