War Elephant

A siege siege unit of the Natars. Every figure below is produced by the same engine behind the calculators, so a stat here and a result there cannot disagree.

An NPC tribe - no player can train them. The stats are read from the game, but any total, rate or cost is a curiosity rather than something to plan around.

What stands out

  • Its 250 attack is more than any player's siege engine has - the most, on the Roman Fire Catapult, is 75.
  • Its 250 attack is the most of any Natar unit.
  • Its 150 defence against cavalry is the most of any Natar unit.
  • At 5 fields per hour it outruns every player's siege engine; the fastest, the Roman Battering ram, manages 4.
  • Its listed price of 1,400 resources is 82% of the cheapest player's siege engine, the Spartan Ram at 1,705.

Smithy upgrades

Each smithy level raises a stat by a fraction of its base plus a term scaled by crop consumption. The crop term is why a unit’s gain is not simply a percentage of its base stat: relative to their stats, high-upkeep units gain the most.
