What stands out

  • As a raider it has the best carry for its price, hauling 24 resources for every 100 spent training it, ahead of the Viking Thrall (21).
  • Pound for pound it is the second-cheapest attack in the game, at 16.0 attack per 100 resources.
  • At Smithy level 20 its attack rises from 40 to 52.4, a 31% gain.

Smithy upgrades

Each smithy level raises a stat by a fraction of its base plus a term scaled by crop consumption. The crop term is why a unit’s gain is not simply a percentage of its base stat: relative to their stats, high-upkeep units gain the most.
