Elpida Rider
A defensive cavalry unit of the Spartans. Every figure below is produced by the same engine behind the calculators, so a stat here and a result there cannot disagree.
What stands out
- Its 120 defence against infantry is the highest of any troop in the game, level with the Egyptian Resheph Chariot.
- At 16 fields per hour it is the second-fastest troop in the game, level with the Gaul Druidrider and Hun Steppe Rider.
- It is the third-most crop-efficient defender to feed, with 60.0 of its best defence for each crop it eats an hour, level with the Teuton Spearman.
- At Smithy level 20 its attack rises from 55 to 76.1, a 38% gain.
Smithy upgrades
Each smithy level raises a stat by a fraction of its base plus a term scaled by crop consumption. The crop term is why a unit’s gain is not simply a percentage of its base stat: relative to their stats, high-upkeep units gain the most.
